About Park West Dental Care
James G. Drake DMD (his friends call him J.D.) attended Ricks College, Idaho State University, and received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. In addition to enjoying all procedures in general dentistry, Dr. Drake is currently focusing his research on Cosmetics and Full Mouth Rehabilitation. He uses lasers in treating cavities, gum infections, and cold sores. Dr. Drake co-founded a nationally recognized company that trains dental assistants ( www.assisttosucceed.com ) and has served the people of Haiti, China, and Tonga on outreach dental missions. Dr. Drake is a grateful husband to his wife, Jennifer, and father to their three very cute children. He was born and raised on a dairy farm in eastern Idaho and you may find him horseback any chance he gets. Dr. Drake has published a book about the human need for acceptance (Thirst) Currently and is proud to serve on the Board of Alpine 4-H Horse Camp.
