She started her academic journey by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Davis, and was attending a PhD program in clinical psychology before realizing that dentistry was her true calling. She went on to graduate from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco with a doctorate degree in dentistry. What sets Dr. Truong apart from other dentist is her extensive knowledge in psychology, which she uses to establish a comfortable environment for her patients. She believes that establishing trust and good rapport is essential in developing a strong relationship with her patients. After serving as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy for three years, she has been practicing as a family dentist in Rocklin CA for the last 19 years, specializing in cosmetic and laser dentistry.
