About Palo Alto Dentist -Mary Qian Dental Group

Dr. Mary Qian was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in Morris Plains, New Jersey. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She then went on to receive her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Following graduation, she practiced in Boston for 6 years before moving to the Bay Area. After moving to California, Dr. Qian began working with Dr. Boyarsky at his Palo Alto practice. They bonded over their similar dental philosophies, as well as their common home state of New Jersey. Dr. Boyarsky served as a great role model and mentor to Dr. Qian. When he decided to retire, it was an easy transition for Dr. Qian to take over the office. Dr. Qian is passionate about restorative dentistry and patient care.
