For more than a century, the Ory name has been trusted in LaPlace dentistry. It all began in 1906 with Dr. Oscar Joseph Ory Sr., whose passion for helping others set the tone for generations to come. His son, “Doc” Ory Jr., carried on the calling through the 1980s, and in 1969 Dr. Robert Ory Sr. founded the current W. 5th St. practice. Today, he shares that same office with his sons, Dr. Robert Jr. and Dr. Benjamin—both proud LSU Dental School graduates. Patients often smile at the chance to say they’ve been treated by four generations of Orys. But for the family, the greatest reward is working side by side, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another.
