About Orchard City Dental Care

My name is Dr. Sara Go Sugishita, known as “Dr. Go” by my patients. I was born and raised in Long Island, New York, and received my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Anthropology from New York University in 2001. After college, I worked for a year as a dental assistant for my family dentist and fell in love with dentistry for its incorporation of both art and science. I then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston to receive my D.M.D. degree in 2006. Right after, I worked as an associate for two years in Boston at one of my dental instructors’ private practices. During that time, I met my soon to be husband who is from San Jose, and I made the decision to move out to California in 2009. In Campbell, CA, I had the great fortune of meeting Dr. James Carter, who was retiring from his dental practice. I took over his partnership at Hughes Dental Group, where I had the greatest pleasure of caring for an amazing set of patients. It has been the best time meeting newly
