About Us Main Menu Meet Our Doctors Main Menu Meet Dr. Rhett Sutton Originally from Oregon, Dr. Shayne Guffey spent much of his childhood in a small farming town before moving to Portland, where he graduated high school and later earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Oregon Health Sciences University. Growing up in two worlds — rural and urban — he was able to explore diverse interests, like hunting pheasants and attending Shakespeare festivals. An appreciation for a wide range of interests defines Dr. Guffey both personally and professionally. He enjoys the many facets of dentistry as well as the variety of patients he has the pleasure of serving. Learning about his patients unique interests is a particular joy for Dr. Guffey; he loves discovering new things to explore. His current hobbies include travel, backpacking, photography, chasing solar eclipses, reading fiction, and vibe coding. In everything he does, he strives for excellence in the details.
