Procedures Periodontal Disease What is Periodontal (Gum) Disease? Dr. Warda was born in Houston Texas. He moved to Alexandria, Egypt, as a child. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and subsequently a Bachelor’s in Dental Science in Alexandria. After returning to the United States, Dr. Warda attended USC School of dentistry, where he earned his doctoral degree in 2010. He practiced general dentistry for two years, and then enrolled in the periodontal residency at UCLA School of Dentistry in 2012, completing this in 2015. This program provided Dr. Warda a high level of training in periodontics, dental implant surgery, periodontal microsurgery and sedation. He also earned a Master’s degree in Oral Biology during his studies at UCLA. Shortly after completing his residency, Dr. Warda took written and oral examinations and attained the status of Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology.
