Dr. Chase, a proud native of Orono, MN, found his calling in dentistry through his early experiences at Engstrand Family Dentistry. Dr. Chase's exposure to the welcoming atmosphere and genuine passion for dentistry at Dr. Engstrand's practice ignited his interest in the field at an early age. Chase's journey showcases a diverse background, from his time as a four-year starter and senior captain at the DIII Carleton football program to serving actively in the US Navy for four years after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Marquette University's dental school in 2019. Chase's studies at Carleton focused on Biology and Biochemistry which included a trimester on an ecology program that took him across Australia. ‍ During his Navy service, he provided dental care to recruits at boot camp in Great Lakes, IL, and spent two years aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN77) out of Norfolk, VA. His service included a 9-month deployment during the Russia-Ukraine
