Dr. Hamby grew up in the small town of Picher, Oklahoma, with his parents and six siblings. He was an inquisitive child who loved science, math, and solving problems. He worked with his father as a brick mason for several years, which allowed him to utilize his creative side and led him to his first career as a Plastics Engineer. He worked in the engineering field for 12 years before deciding he wanted a more hands-on career in healthcare. After shadowing a dentist during a mission trip to Brazil, he knew dentistry was the field he wanted to pursue, and he hasn t looked back since! He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at A.T. Still University - Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2017. He began his dental career at a community health center in Wisconsin, providing care to the underserved for three and half years, before relocating to the Springfield, MO area to join a private practice in 2020. He knew he wanted to own a private practice, and this opportunity present
