Dr. Bryan McLaughlin grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he studied Biology, Physiology, and Neuroscience. He attended the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health for dental school, earning a Masters of Public Health along with his dental degree. After graduation he was commissioned as an Army officer and spent three years training in the Army’s post-graduate prosthodontic residency in Augusta, Georgia. His first duty assignment after residency was Chief of Prosthodontics at Fort Bliss, Texas, where he provided specialty prosthodontic treatment to a soldier population of 29,000, as well as providing prosthodontic mentorship and support for the Army’s Oral Surgery residency. While at Fort Bliss he was able to complete the requirements for board certification, becoming a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics and Diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
