Dr. Michael Gomez, a highly respected dentist in Santa Maria, California, has been providing exceptional dental care to the Central Coast community for decades. Born and raised in Orange, California, Dr. Gomez began his academic journey at the University of California, Irvine , where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1978. He then pursued his dental education at the prestigious University of Washington School of Dentistry , earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1982. Following graduation, Dr. Gomez served as Staff Dentist and Dental Clinic Director at the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic until 1987, where he gained invaluable experience in patient care and clinical leadership. In 1987, Dr. Gomez established his private dental practice in Santa Maria, drawn by the area’s natural beauty, welcoming community, and family-oriented atmosphere.
