About Michael Nichols, DMD, MD

Michael Nichols, DMD, MD, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Oral & Facial Surgery of Mississippi in Flowood, Mississippi. A Mississippi native, he received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Mississippi in 1994, ranking first in his class. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama, completed a general surgery internship, and continued his training in Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama before moving to Flowood to begin private practice. He also holds an appointment as an Associate Professor in the University of Mississippi Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, where he instructs dental students and residents, and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
