A Slidell native, Dr. Michael J. Appleton, DDS returned home after earning his degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1998 to open Oak Harbor Family Dentistry . For more than 20 years, he has proudly served families across the North Shore, Metairie, and surrounding communities with compassionate, high-quality care. Known for his patient-first approach, he takes time to answer questions and ensure comfort at every visit. What he enjoys most are the lasting relationships he builds—and he finds it especially rewarding to help patients with dental anxiety achieve healthier, more confident smiles. Dr. Braud is also a Slidell native who graduated from Louisiana State University. He joined our practice after completing dental school, and he now provides a range of general , cosmetic , and restorative services to our patients.
