About Mermaid Dental of San Marcos

Dr. Kularatne, lovingly known as ‘Dr. K’ by her patients, obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Dr. K is originally from Sri Lanka where she graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She has also obtained a MSc in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. K is a personable, kind and a passionate dentist who enjoys working with people. She prides herself by making her patients happy and delivering the highest quality care for them. She loves taking continuing studies to keep her up to date on new dental advancements and travel regularly to take new courses. She is a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA) and a fellow of the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA). During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys reading, traveling and listening to music. Dr. K would love to meet you! Meet Savann
