About Matus Family Dentistry

Dr. Samantha Matus has worked in Berlin since 2014. She is a lifelong resident of Connecticut and now resides in Wallingford with her son, and cats Max and Carl. Dr. Matus received her Bachelor of Science degree from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA and continued her education at the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. Following graduation, she completed a two year General Practice residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. During her second year of residency, she was selected to be Chief Resident of the program. Dr. Matus became interested in dentistry because it blends her talent of fine motor skills with the ability to help people achieve a better quality of life. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association (ADA), Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD).
