Dr. Fortenberry is the founder of Madison Dental Group. Having practiced in Madison since opening his office in 1990, Dr. Fortenberry is dedicated to creating warm relationships with his patients while striving to give them the best dental care possible. Dr. Fortenberry received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Mississippi College in 1986, and he graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1990. Dr. Fortenberry is a native of Jackson and currently lives in Madison. He has been married to his wife, Stephanie for over 30 years. They have three sons: Austin, an administrator at Jackson Academy; Jacob, a 2024 graduate of University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and current endodontic resident at Boston University; and Jordan, a 2025 senior at Ole Miss who will be attending UMMC School of Medicine after graduation.
