Dr. Carola B. Okogbaa is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing eye care and surgery in Baton Rouge and surrounding are a s since 2013 . She performs cataract and glaucoma surgery, diagnoses and treats eye problems . She received her Bachelor of Scienc e degree from the University of S outh Florida in Tampa, Florida. She then completed her medical degree at Creighton University School of M edicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Okogbaa also pursued a one-year internal medicine training at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas . She then moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where she completed her ophthalmology residency at Tulane University School of medicine in New Orleans , Louisiana. Dr. Okogbaa is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
