Dr. Freeman grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and studied chemistry at Indiana University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with High Academic Distinction from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2011. Striving for academic excellence, Dr. Freeman graduated #2 in his dental school class of 106 students. Upon graduation, Dr. Freeman was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society which elects only 12% of the graduating class based on ethical character and academic excellence. In addition, Dr. Freeman was awarded the Glenn J. Pell Award in which only one student is chosen for oral surgery excellence. Dr. Freeman was also awarded the Anesthesiology Horace Wells Award in which only one student is selected for distinction in the field of dental anesthesiology. After receiving his dental degree, Dr. Freeman was accepted into Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the prestigious Indiana University Medical Center. He completed four years
