About Leavenworth Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Sterling Card was raised in Oregon as the youngest of five boys. His educational and professional training has taken him to several states and mission work with his church took him to Germany, where he became fluent in German. For his undergraduate education, Dr. Card earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He then returned to Oregon to attend dental school at Oregon Health & Sciences University. While obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at OHSU, Dr. Card served as president of the Student Research Group. He was also appointed as a trustee for the Oregon Dental Association Board of Trustees as well as a delegate in the Oregon Dental Association House of Delegates. Dr. Card continued his education at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, where he earned his medical degree, before completing his rigorous specialty training at one of the strongest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training programs in the nation: The University of Kentucky Oral & Maxill
