About Keating Family Dental

I have had the privilege of serving Auburn and the surrounding community since 1991. I am blessed to be surrounded by the best, most outstanding dental team a doctor could ask for! I was born in Queens, New York, but only lived there a short time. I was raised in Schenectady where my dad worked for GE and my mom was a nurse. I went to the University of Pittsburgh on an athletic scholarship, but after one year the program was eliminated due to Title IX and I finished my undergraduate at Siena College. Dental school followed at SUNY ina Buffalo where I graduated in 1990. I then completed a General Practice Hospital Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. I began practicing in Auburn in 1991. In 1996, I went to a continuing education course which turned into a “retreat” of sorts for me. I was introduced to the Dawson Academy and the concept of complete dentistry—examining much more than just the teeth of the patient. This set the tone for what has been the way that I have prac
