The practice combines conventional family medicine with nutritional counseling, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and bioidentical hormone therapy delivered through a monthly membership model rather than traditional insurance billing. Dr. Karrenbauer previously served as Medical Director at Duke Primary Care and UNC Rex Primary Care and as an Adjunct Professor at the UConn School of Medicine before founding KIFM.
