About John E Sullivan, DDS

Dr. Sullivan, an Oak Park native, earned his biology degree from Loyola University Chicago in 1979 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry in 1983. After honing his skills for several years in practices on North Michigan Avenue and Chicago’s Near South Side, he opened his own office in 1987 alongside his high-school friend, Dr. Larry Humberstone, DC. By 1998, growing demand prompted a move to the current location at 511 Thornhill Dr., Suite H, Carol Stream, IL—where he continues to welcome patients today. Over more than four decades, Dr. Sullivan has built his reputation on integrity, conservative treatment planning, and doing only what is truly necessary for each patient’s long-term health. He believes dentistry should never feel overwhelming or pressured, and he takes pride in providing clear explanations and honest recommendations.
