About James Rochefort, D.M.D.

Dr. Rochefort, a native of New Hampshire, grew up north of the White Mountains in the small town of Lancaster where his family owned and operated the local independent pharmacy. After graduating high school, Dr. Rochefort attended Tulane University where he received a bachelor s and master s degree in Biomedical Engineering. His goal was to be a researcher, but after working in a lab at the University of Washington, he decided that career wasn t for him. I missed people. I loved all the people that would come through my father s drug store and interacting with them. Working in research was just too isolating. It was at this point Dr. Rochefort began his road towards dentistry and attended Boston University s Goldman School of Dental medicine where he graduated summa cum laude. He then continued his studies by completing a General Practice Residency in Asheville, North Carolina before returning to practice in New Hampshire.
