Dr. Howell believes that listening and communication are the most important ways to develop trust, confidence and a respectful relationship with his patients. We understand that dental treatment can be stressful. Our office and staff are committed to providing a relaxing, comfortable environment where patients can receive the best dental treatments available. Our goal is to make each visit a positive experience. Dr. Howell received dual bachelor s degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Valparaiso University in 1979. After five years of neurochemical research, Dr. Howell attended and graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, receiving his Doctorate in Dental Surgery 1988. Dr. Howell has maintained a private practice in Urbana since 1989. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Howell is proud to volunteer at the Promise Healthcare, Smile Heathy Dental Clinic, providing dental care to the underserved community.
