About Hamlin Modern Dentistry

Born and raised in London, England, Dr. Janisha Patel moved to Celebration, Florida at the age of ten. She has lived in the state of Florida ever since and has become a true Floridian! Dr. Patel attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree. She went on to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After graduation in 2014, she moved back to the Orlando, Florida area and got married to her college sweetheart! Fun Fact: Her husband, Dr. Tejas Patel, is the dashing Optometrist that can be found next door at Hamlin Eye Care! Dr. Patel and her husband moved to Horizon West in 2019. She loves living in Hamlin and provides exceptional dental care to her friends, family, and neighbors. Dr. Patel loves spending time with her kids, Raina and Aven.
