About Goebel Family Dentistry

Dr. Thomas J. Goebel graduated from Moline High School in 2004. He attended Augustana College for his undergraduate education and received his DDS degree from Marquette University in 2012. Since dental school, Dr. Goebel has been passionate about continuing education. He completes over five times the amount of continuing education required by the state board—almost 100 hours every year. “Being able to give someone the confidence in their smile again when they felt all hope is lost. That is one of the most satisfying things I will ever do. To give someone the ability to smile confidently again still gives me chills.” He believes in conservative dentistry, or what dentists call minimally invasive dentistry. “I prefer to save teeth and natural tooth structure as much as possible,” he says. Technological advances like CAD-CAM restorations and bonding techniques enable him to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible.
