Dr. Hoda Bassiri first developed a passion for dentistry while attending Cummings High School in Burlington, NC. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Chemistry, from the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill. Receiving the honor of Aubrey Lee Brooks Scholarship, she was able to study abroad in Rome, Italy, and additionally do two years of research in dental chemistry at UNC. She wasted no time in pursuing her dreams after completing her undergraduate studies. With a full scholarship from the Board of Governors, Dr. Hoda Bassiri earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Dr. Hoda Bassiri’s interest in developing her skills lead her to complete a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center.
