Christina has been a vegetarian for over 40 years, and it was that early interest in dietary and nutritional therapies that led to her pursuit of study in the Functional Nutrition and Functional Medicine. She has a Master of Science Degree in Human Nutrition and is also an IFMCP practitioner certified by the prestigious Institute of Functional Medicine. In addition, over 26 years ago she delved into the Oriental Healing Arts of Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Licensed by the State Acupuncture Committee with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from OCOM, she has always been keen to learn more. She carries a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists, alongside her Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor's College of Traditional Medicine in
