Mackenzie earned both a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a B.S. in Nursing from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. — a combination that informs not only her technical expertise, but her deeply patient-centered approach to care. Her nursing career began in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room, where she developed the confidence, precision, and composur
