We were born to do this and we are damn good at it too. We love this industry and boy do we have history. The business was first started in downtown Janesville by Bev Ableman in 1948 as Bev s Studio. Then Barb Mathews took ownership in 1982 and renamed the business, Heritage Salon. Barb was able to give the business a fresh look, location and bring the newest trends to market. Bev continued to work for the business up to her retirement and passing. In 1986 Barb moved the salon to its current location: 2919 N. Lexington Dr. Janesville, WI 53545. After many years of success Pam Lawrence took ownership in 2006 renaming the business Feature s Hair and Nail Co. Under Pam s leadership the business added a website, Facebook page, and computer system bring the salon into the dot.com era. The combined experience and leadership we have is an asset that no other salon has, building the foundation for our team.
