Dr. Troy A. Schmedding graduated from the University of Puget Sound before getting his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1993. For 17 years, Dr. Schmedding successfully maintained a solo dental practice in Seattle, WA before relocating with his family to California to pursue his interest in educating a future generation of dentists. After 5 years as assistant professor in the Department of Reconstructive Dental Sciences and co-course director for Intergrated Pre-Clinical Technique at UOP Dentistry, he realized he missed direct patient interaction and purchased his current practice in Walnut Creek. In addition to teaching, Dr. Schmedding enjoys lecturing nationally and internationally to fellow colleagues on restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Schmedding has received accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, one of approximately 600 dentists worldwide to have achieved this distinction.
