About Eye Center of Northern Co: Foster Gary MD

I am a board certified ophthalmologist and specialize in cataract and laser eye surgery in Colorado and Wyoming. The Eye Center of Northern Colorado is a multi-specialty ophthalmic practice, that is, we specialize in all types of eye disease and surgery. We have 6 offices spread through the towns of Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland, and Cheyenne. I grew up in Iowa with my four brothers and two sisters. We had no trouble finding trouble so some of my earliest memories involve our family doctor who always seemed to appear in times of crisis to make things better. That is probably why I always wanted to be a doctor. I wanted to help others in their times of need. Later in life I became nearsighted and had to wear glasses and contact lenses to see. I viewed this problem as a disability and, when LASIK became available, I jumped at the chance to be cured from my vision problems. I had LASIK and still can not believe the change it has made in my life.
