About Us Meet Dr. Angie Meet Dr. Alison Meet Our Team Why Choose Us Tour Our Office Dr. Alison Rufo Widmann received her DMD from the Medical College of Georgia, now known as The Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta, GA. Her undergraduate studies were at Augusta College and the University of Georgia. A native of Augusta, GA, Dr. Widmann began her dental career alongside her father, Dr. Raymond Rufo, in 1986. “It was a wonderful experience to practice with my father and to learn how to listen and develop loving and caring relationships with patients,” recalls Dr. Widmann. Dr. Widmann continued the practice after her father retired 3 years later and then eventually sold the practice when her husband’s occupation relocated the family. She completed the continuing education program with the Dawson Academy and has additional training in removable partial and complete dentures. Dr. Widmann has also enjoyed extending her patient base to children.
