Essential Health is a boutique wellness practice in Madison, Wisconsin, led by nurse practitioner Karen Hanson, who founded it after more than 25 years in healthcare. The practice states its four focus areas as functional medicine, anti-aging, weight loss and skin rejuvenation, and commonly treats perimenopause and menopause, male hormone balance, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal stress and fatigue.
