Dr. Edwards attended St. Stanislaus and graduated in 1982, then received his Bachelor of Science in 1986 from Millsaps College. After that, he attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1991. Following the completion of his schooling in 1991, Dr. Edwards began practicing in Gulfport that same year. He is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Mississippi Dental Association, and the Spear Study Club, and he meets with other dentists once a month to discuss cases and new techniques.
