About Elk Grove Family Dentistry

Inspired by my hygienist mother, I entered the dental world back in 1986 as a high school senior and never looked back! I’ve done it all—from assisting to training offices on dental software—before finding my home managing the practice here at EGFD. I love that our team at EGFD cares about the big picture of our patient's oral health, rather than just "drilling and filling." When I’m not helping our office run smoothly, you can find me out on the boat with my husband, working in the backyard with my dogs Dottie and Daisy, or hanging out with my granddaughter. Fun Fact: I love volunteering at Horse and Halo, a non-profit horse rescue program. Heartbreak: My absolute favorite toothpaste flavor was Mentadent, and I'm still mourning the fact that they don't make it anymore. I joined the dental field in 2003 looking for a career change, and I have loved every minute since!
