Dr. Khang Nguyen attended the University of California-Davis and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the New York University College of Dentistry – one of the most prestigious dental schools on the East Coast. After graduating from dental school, he moved back to California and in 2006 established El Portal Dental Group in Merced, CA. To stay abreast of the latest techniques and technology, Dr. Nguyen takes continuing education courses in endodontics, progressive orthodontics, ClearCorrect, and dental implants. In doing so, he can offer cutting-edge treatments and provide the best dental care for his patients. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Stanislaus Foundation Society, Yosemite Dental Society, and Merced Chamber of Commerce.
