Effective Integrative Healthcare is a two-location integrative medicine group in Millersville and Lanham, Maryland, founded by Anthony Hardnett, DC, who expanded an earlier chiropractic practice into a combined chiropractic, functional medicine, and physical-medicine group by adding physician and nurse-practitioner care. The practice offers bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, nutritional IV therapy, and acupuncture alongside chiropractic and rehabilitation services. Melissa Whitaker, CRNP, completed coursework through the Institute for Functional Medicine and leads much of the practice's functional-medicine care.
