Originally from Albany, NY, Dr. Parth Parekh graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Buffalo with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Mathematics and graduated top 10 in his class while earning a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Before becoming the co-owner of Durham Dental Group, Dr. Parekh worked several years as a general, cosmetic and sedation dentist in the Triangle Area and perfected his craft of recreating beautiful smiles for those who were fearful of visiting the dentist. Prior to moving to the Triangle Area, he completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he received extensive training in surgical, cosmetic and implant dentistry, intravenous (I.V.) sedation, wisdom teeth extractions, Invisalign, and managing medically compromised or anxious patients.
