Dr. Duck is proud to continue a legacy of compassionate, high-quality dental care in Oak Ridge. In May 2025, Dr. Birdwell entrusted his patients and the future of his practice to Dr. Irene Duck, DMD, who brings a fresh perspective grounded in the same core values: kindness, professionalism, and a patient-first approach. Dr. Duck earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in 2023. She provides gentle, high-quality care for patients of all ages — from routine cleanings to complex restorative treatment — and focuses on helping patients feel comfortable at every visit. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, painting, and spending time with her husband, and is proud to care for the Oak Ridge community. Elisa has been with our team since 1986. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of East Tennessee State University’s Dental Hygiene program, she holds a certificate in local anesthetics, administration and monitoring of nitrous oxide, and limited prescriptive au
