About Dry Creek Family Dental of Galt

Aloha! My family and I are excited to come to California and be a part of your community! After owning a practice in Hawaii, we decided we wanted to move closer to my wife’s family and feel very privileged to have met Dr. Hilder and are eager to be a part of his legacy. I grew up in a military family, and therefore moved often, unlike my wife, who lived most her life in Santa Rosa. After moving from home, deciding what I wanted to do for a living proved to be quite challenging. I have no dentist in my family and dentistry was not on my radar, so I spent several years searching for a way to make a living that I could love. Through my searching, I became a “jack of all trades and master of none,” working in everything from construction, appliance repair, banking, retail, and food service. Wherever I worked, I felt a lack of complete fulfillment. Thankfully, with support of my wife through many years of school and several serendipitous connections, I discovered my passion for dentistry.
