Like so many estheticians, I was driven into the world of skincare because I was struggling with my own skin . As I watched videos and listened to professional estheticians online, I found myself considering the work for myself. I drummed up the confidence and decided to go back to school, and it’s true, I love it. There was a long path already tread before Dream-Me’s inception, but the common thread is that I’ve always loved learning, working by touch, and connecting with others, and these are my favorite parts of the work I do. Beauty is…complicated. If you know me, you know I feel more comfortable in my bare skin and save makeup for occasions, even with my acne. Not everyone feels that way, and that’s okay, and let’s face it, beautiful skin is a beautiful base. That’s why one of my business philosophies is “ makeup-optional skin ”.
