About Dr. Sam Cohlmia

Cohlmia Eye Center is a Wichita, Kansas ophthalmology practice founded in 1997 by Sam Cohlmia, MD, a board-certified ophthalmologist and eye surgeon. The practice provides medical and surgical eye care, including treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, strabismus and corneal disorders, along with emergency eye care. Its cosmetic and reconstructive offerings include oculoplastic surgery and eyelid lift surgery (blepharoplasty). Dr. Cohlmia earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. The single office serves Wichita and surrounding south central Kansas communities, and the practice sees patients in English, Spanish and Arabic.
