About Dr. Mariana C. Elwell DDS, MAGD, ABGD

Dr. Elwell is the daughter of a Medical Doctor and a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. She hails from Albuquerque, NM and earned her undergraduate degree from New Mexico State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and minor degrees in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, and Spanish in 2000. Dr. Elwell was an integral member of academic research while attending NMSU. She successfully earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of California-San Francisco in 2004. While completing this rigorous training, Dr. Elwell promoted research and educational advancements in dentistry as the four-year elected representative of the American Dental Education Association. Dr. Elwell subsequently commissioned as an Officer in the United States Air Force. She proudly served on active duty in Anchorage, Alaska, as a Captain and General Dentist, where she was a core member of a team providing care to over 7,000 servicemembers.
