About Dr. Bruce Herpy

A true Buckeye, Dr. Bruce attended Ohio State for his undergraduate and dental education. After graduating in 1990, he decided to further his education by completing a general practice residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland. A GPR is an intense one-year program where the participating dentist is trained in all specialties of dentistry- but in a hospital setting. The Mount Sinai program placed a special focus on oral surgery procedures. Drs. Bruce and Lynn Hjerpyn began practicing in Barberton in 1991, after Dr. Edward Koosed retired. They were honored to merge their practice with that of Dr. Ramon Peters in 1995 and are extremely proud to care for their dental family and to contribute to this special community. Drs. Bruce and Lynn are not only busy at Austin Park Dental, but also at home. Married since 1988, they have four beautiful children who require a lot of energy. Family is a priority for the doctors.
