About Dr. Anna Knight

If you ask Dr. Knight why she does what she does, you will quickly see that she has a caring passion and purpose for her patients requiring treatment for cancer of the breast. From an early age Dr. Anna Knight volunteered in cancer centers providing blankets, snacks, and a loving smile to patients needing the best at their worst. Following her dream and calling as a physician, Dr. Knight completed her undergraduate degree in nutrition from Louisiana State University. Her training includes medical school at LSU-Shreveport, and an internship and residency at the Detroit Medical Center where she was chief resident and Resident Representative to the Wayne State Surgical Society. Dr. Knight then served a breast fellowship at The University of Alabama in Birmingham. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. She has presented various professional papers and most recently published an abstract for the American Society of Breast Surgeons Annual Meeting (2020). ​It is clear that D
