About Dothan Cosmetic Dentistry: Geoff M Gaunt D.M.D.

Dr. Gaunt, a 1987 graduate from Auburn University, went on to attend The University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He looked forward to a profession of helping people attain optimal dental health. After graduation from Dental School, Dr. Gaunt joined his cousin/mentor, Jay Gaunt in his practice in Central Pennsylvania. Dr. Gaunt spent most of his eleven years at that practice narrowing his focus and postgraduate education to the aesthetic restoration of teeth, learning from some of the best clinicians in the world. In keeping with his philosophy to restore teeth to their most natural condition possible and as conservatively as possible, Dr. Gaunt decided in 1995 to remove silver fillings from his treatment options. In fact, whenever possible, he tries to use metal-free alternatives to restore teeth. In 2002, Dr. Gaunt brought this philosophy and his enthusiasm for dentistry to Dothan, AL, which is closer to home. This is where he and his wife Lisa decided to raise their three children
