Dr Ankita has been practicing dentistry for about 12 years. She obtained her DDS degree at the University of the Pacific, San Francisco and also engaged in advanced training at UCLA School of Dentistry in the field of Oral Implantology. Originally from New Delhi, India, she graduated from the country’s top dental school at Delhi University, and completed her residency in Periodontics/ gum surgery before moving to California. She is an expert in handling gum disease and offers surgical treatment options like gum grafts and bone grafts that help maintain existing teeth by building healthy soft tissue and bone support around them. During her training, she was exposed to both community and private clinic settings, requiring her to diagnose and treat a wide range of complex cases. She also worked in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department at the trauma center of a large public hospital.
