About Derma

Derma is a privately owned dermatology practice in the medical district of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, founded by Dr. Chad Prather, MD, who previously operated Dermasurgery Center from 2008 until its 2017 merger with Sanova Dermatology. Dr. Prather is the only fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and dermatologist in the Baton Rouge area, having performed more than 40,000 Mohs surgeries. The practice provides medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, including skin cancer treatment and reconstruction, Botox and dermal fillers, chemical peels, and laser treatments.
