As Dr. Schmidt grew up, his father worked in finance for Dental Associates, so he often found himself in the company of dentists. During his freshman year of high school, Dr. Schmidt got a job with the janitor company that cleaned Dental Associates, where he could be found wiping windows and cleaning bathrooms. When his father worked late, he and his sister could be found rollerblading and playing rubber band wars down the halls after hours.
